Grass-Fed Beef Steak, Mushroom and Ale Pie
This hearty steak and mushroom pie is made with care from start to finish. We use our own grass-fed beef, carefully trimmed and slow cooked until perfectly tender. It's then simmered in a rich stout from Wensleydale Brewery, who are just down the road from us, brining deep flavour and a smooth richness that compliments the beef perfectly.
The filling is prepared in small batches right here in our butchery kitchen.
The pasty is made using Wildfarmed flour who partner with regenerative farms throughout the UK. This flour brings distinctive character to the crust, which is crisp and golden.
